The Brief
A growing family in Alexandra Hills had outgrown their three-bedroom brick home but didn't want to leave the suburb. The decision was made to extend rather than move — adding a master bedroom with ensuite, a new second living space, and a full kitchen fitout that finally matched how the family actually used the home.
The project ran across several months, from the first site inspection through demolition, framing, fitout, and final handover. Tomas personally managed every stage and every trade on site.
THE RESULT
The extension added a full master bedroom with tiled floors, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobe, and access to a new ensuite — giving the parents a proper retreat for the first time. The new living area opened up the back of the home and connects directly to the outdoor space.
The kitchen fitout was completed as part of the same contract. White cabinetry, new appliances, and a layout redesigned from scratch around how the family cooks. The drone shots show just how significantly the footprint of the home changed from start to finish.
